i passed this beautiful Poppy Field today and realized the significance of today being Memorial Day…
but sitting in the midst of the field were several local artist(painters) with their palets,paints and esiels and they were already in the process of applying this beautiful scene to canvas!
the young lady is Sara Watts from Pilot Mtn..
the gentleman artist is Scott Burdick of the Quaker Gap area!
i caould not afford to pass this scene without taking these photos and hoping that you will consider them for use in the Journal!
