when afternoon thunderheads build up to this hieght and begin to flatten out on top looking much like an “anvil”,then its time to prepare for possible severe weather in your area.
i took this photo yesterday( thursday) as i was heading east on brook cove road,in stokes county,heading to walnut cove,n.c..
the view is looking south,southeast towards guilford and davie counties as the storm approach our area about 3:30pm.
