My daughter Karen and I are abiding by her Mom’s/ my wife’s wishes by bringing her ashes to be scattered in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
My beautiful wife Peggi,passed away on March 5th this year and it was her wishes to be cremated and to have her ashes scattered in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina!
So, on this Sunday,October 4th,we planned this event with permission from a park ranger at the Blue Ridge Music Center, and gracefully made our way to a location that he suggested to us.
It was a beautiful spot and away from any crowded area!
Karen and I both loved this place and we know that Peg would have been Proud too!
We both thank our good friend Penny,for taking the photos for us so that we might share this moment with our friends and Peggi’s friends, too!
I brought my Bible along and read from the 3rd chapter of Genisis,where God is telling Adam and Eve that one day they must die and return to the earth from whence they came.Ashes to ashes and dust to dust…
